NSA Posters

Poster series made in late 2014. Back then, amidst the NSA international surveillance scandal, WIRED magazine estimated that their new data center being build at Utah would have the capacity of storing data to the order of yottabytes. Combining the leaked list of keywords used for the agency to scan personal data and messages for possible threats with the hard to grasp bulkiness of the data center, I designed this series trying to visualize just how big a yottabyte is, and therefore how much information the NSA is able to retain.
