Rio Cello

Rio Cello is a free classical music festival that invades the streets of Rio de Janeiro with art, music and dance. The concerts promote the encounter between classical and popular in contemporary concerts of cello, choro, jazz, tango and rock.

Its visual identity was created experimenting with light, sound and motion, searching for ways to translate time into static images. The circular shape was born of the geometry of the cello, and reacts to the music vibration through coding, forming the organic shapes of the identity. With that, movement was the essence of the festival identity, and we were able to bring erudite music closer to the general public, in a simple and powerful way.
